Wow! Are We Blessed.

We have really enjoyed General Conference. Everything from Women's Conference to the last session today has been so uplifting and inspiring. We are so blessed to be led by prophets and apostles. I'd have to say that October conference time is one of my favorite times of the year.

There were so many talks that dealt with encouragement and being obedient so we can be blessed in the days ahead. With all the craziness going on all over the world, it is so calming to have the the voice of the Lord guiding us through his servants.

We were really excited to hear the the five new temples that were announced. We were really grateful to hear about the temple in Rome, Italy. In one of the last missionary conferences that Matt attended while on his mission there, the visiting authority promised that one day there would be a temple in Italy. I remembered what Matt had said and got chills all over as soon as I heard the announcement. I called Matt and the first thing he said was "I heard!" He said he was glad he wasn't there in person to hear it cause he let out a loud "Yes" and clapped. He said it was a lot like being at a ballgame. It was nice to see him still caring about the people of Italy.

"Whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants it is the same." That sure has meaning doesn't it!!
